Following further guidance from the Government and WHO, some of our factories will temporarily go offline for prolonged periods of time. All products are available to order as before but we may experience some delays in certain products. If you place an order for a product that is not currently available to produce, a member of our team will be in contact with you to discuss alternatives or to discuss a revised delivery date for your order.

Thursday 19th March 2020

We are still operating here at Apprintable - it is business as usual - and we want to provide assurances to our clients and customers all over the world that we are here for you!

As of now, there have not been any confirmed cases of coronavirus in our offices but nevertheless we have taken the precaution to move our staff to work from home until further notice.

Because of the way our business model works, we are already very hands-off when it comes to producing orders. This has allowed us the advantage of moving quickly in making the changes to our ways of working as a team with no disruption to our workflow.

Health & Safety

We take the health and safety of our staff, customers and our entire supply chain very seriously and so for those who do remain at the office and throughout our factories worldwide, we are ensuring the proper measures are being taken. The following are the preventative measures that are being taken, which is based on recommendations from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the UK Government:

We’ve Increased hygiene measures:

  • Hand sanitiser dispensers throughout the building including kitchens and washrooms.
  • Our team members have been informed to disinfect their hands before entering the workplace.
  • Hand sanitiser wipes/dispensers are ready and available for all visitors in the public areas of our building.
  • Thorough awareness and training of all staff and suppliers on standard personal preventative measures, e.g. personal hygiene, frequency of use of sanitising/disinfection products, etc.
  • All face-to-face meetings for our business development team have been postponed until further notice.

Supply Chain

With our factories all over the UK, Europe and the Far East, we have been in constant contact to ensure they have robust continuity plans in place and are taking as many measures as possible to ensure increased hygiene and the health and safety of their staff and our customers.

UK Factories - Due to the nature of the way we work, our factories work in conjunction with each other and act as buffers for each other. That means that if one factory were to go down for any reason or reach production capacity, we are still able to produce our orders. All production works to ISO standards. We are carefully monitoring each factory’s operations and we’re confident we will not see an interruption to this.

Europe and Far East Factories - no import restrictions have been placed on imports from either of these places as of yet. Based on UK Government advice and even with the strict restrictions placed by European countries on their borders, we do not believe the movement of goods will be restricted in any way.

London Production - As of today (19th March 2020), no movement restrictions have been placed on the capital, our main base of operations. Our Same-Day London production offerings are produced in our West London workshop, and as of yet, there have been no restrictions placed on our area. We have taken the precaution to have 3 months of stock on all available paper stocks and have a stock of over 200,000 wristbands. These numbers will increase should we feel the need to do so.

Food-Safe Production - Our workshops that produce food-safe products are being very closely monitored. They are undergoing daily deep cleaning and regular monitoring of production staff to ensure all goods are up to the high standard we expect, and to ensure the safety of our clients and their customers.

Our product development and executive team will continue to closely monitor our entire supply chain taking all necessary precautions to prevent supply disruptions to our customers; to keep things running as smoothly as possible under these unprecedented circumstances. In the event that this does change, our customers will be informed of any disruptions to service and this page will be updated as often as necessary.

Deliveries

Our delivery partners currently show no disruption. Deliveries are able to be shipped worldwide, as there are no current border restrictions on imports and exports. To ensure your safety, we have been in constant contact with our delivery partners regarding their current policy for dealing with coronavirus and many have set up dedicated pages on their websites like this to provide updates, which we are closely monitoring.

To cut down on unnecessary contact, you will not have to sign for your deliveries if you do not want to.

DPD and FedEx (our 2 main providers) will still make your delivery by using their “Leave in a Safe Place” option; you can still receive your orders while still taking social contact precautions. If you are expecting deliveries from us and would like help in arranging either of these options, please get in touch with our customer care team on 02036333442, quoting your order number and your requirements.

Gophr and Addison Lee (our 2 London Same-Day providers) will not require a signature. They may ask to show ID to take a picture, at which point they will sign for the package for you. Gophr has also committed to a “Leave in a Safe Place” option to be added so please do get in contact with us to arrange this if you are expecting deliveries from us.

We know this is a confusing and worrying time. The team at Apprintable are taking every possible measure to keep our team, customers and service providers safe until the pandemic is over. In the meantime, rest assured we’ll do everything we can to keep your business running smoothly. For more information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and stay safe.
