Variable data means each card can reveal different information under the scratch panel—such as unique codes, prizes, or messages—while the main design stays the same. Examples include:

Winning and losing cards (e.g. Winner and Loser)
Discount codes (e.g. 10% off, 5% off)
Unique serial numbers or identifiers

If your scratch card includes unique coupon codes, please upload a spreadsheet with all the codes, and we will apply them to your design. Upload your spreadsheet of codes when ordering.

Versions refer to different design variations of the scratch card. Changes may include:

Colors or themes
Text updates
Varying panel placements
Unique artwork or branding elements

Not required, if you want a code change only. However, if you want to change the design of the scratch area, then yes.

When creating your design, leave space for the scratch-off area, ensuring that all important text and graphics are within the designated area.

As a quick guideline for scratch area dimensions, we recommend leaving a 2mm margin around the scratch area to account for any misalignment during the finishing process. Example:

Rectangle strip of 48x15mm - give a 2mm bleed to make the box 46x13mm, your text must fit within this space, any text of box may become visible.
Circle - if using multiple circles, ensure they do not overlap each other, the design or logo. Give enough room between each circle to avoid any potential issues.
